Constructed in the 1890¹s from desert stone and railroad ties, the original building served as a supply depot and general store for the mercury miners passing through the Dreamy Draw.
Today, Aunt Chilada¹s not only carries on that century old tradition of a heartfelt Southwestern hospitality, but also dishes out the finest Mexican food this side of the border.
The meeting and banquet facilities at Aunt Chilada's are a unique as her colorful past. Inside, select from four distinctive settings, the Main Dining Room featuring a hand carved fountain and stone fireplace, the Cantina where the band plays on Friday and Wednesday nights with the most infamous happy hour in the City to the Train Depot room, to a more traditional banquet room setting for a quiet event.
The largest Garden patio can comfortable accommodate 200 people, the Palm Court patio and Palapa Bar setting seats over 80 which does not count Dreamy Draw patio that has room for 30 more.
