Timeline of Events:

2 PM Live Music from Raun Alosi Band / Salsa Competitors begin making salsa

3:15 PM Juding/Winners Announced

What to bring? 

Aunt Chilada's will supply all ingredients, all you have to do is show up! 

Competition-style where Aunt Chilada's supplies all basic salsa ingredients on a long table. Contestants will then grab whatever they need to create their salsa. You're welcome to bring in a secret ingredient or two if you'd like, but the salsa itself is to be made here at Aunt Chilada's!

We supply:

Tomatoes: Roasted, Pureed, Fresh, and Stewed

Peppers

Jalapenos: Fresh, Roasted, and Pureed

Tomatillos: Roasted

Serranos: Fresh

Chipotle: Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce

Green Chilies

Fruit

Pineapple, Avocado, limes

Vegetables

Chopped White Onion, Green Onions, Roasted Onions, Roasted Corn, Black Olives

Spices & Herbs

Cumin (granulated), Crushed Red Pepper, Cilantro (fresh), Oregano (dried), Garlic (granulated and roasted), Salt, Black Pepper, Sugar

Bring in whatever else you’d like!

Salsa making will begin at 2pm and judging will begin at 3:15pm.

Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!
